At LUU we're led by our members – that means every single one of you can make a change to what we do, how we do it & who represents you.
The Better Forums are how members of LUU turn their Ideas into Policy. Policy is what guides the work of the Student Executive and staff at LUU, and gives us something to aim for in our quest to improve things for students. All policy lasts for three years; some things can happen straight away, whilst others might take months or years of lobbying.

Better University Forum
1. Should the university build a paved East-West path through St George's Field?
2. Should LUU have a responsibility to hold UOL accountable to ensure that campus is accessible for students with limited mobility?
3. Should the university improve the visibility, accessibility, and maintenance of multi-faith prayer spaces to better support students of all faith backgrounds?
Better Union Forum
1. Should LUU introduce a programme that offers tailored resources and workshops to support men affected by harassment and abuse?
3. Should the LUU support local and national anti-racist mobilisation?
4. Should LUU clubs and societies improve inclusivity and accessibility for all members by creating more responsibility around reasonable adjustments?
Better Leeds Forum
1. Should LUU lobby Members of Parliament to include misogyny in its list of protected hate crime characteristics?
