The University should open up seminar rooms in exam periods
Passed: November 2019 (19th)
What do you want? / Why do you want it?
I would like to open up seminar rooms to students during exam period because the libraries are full and there are loads of unused seminar rooms which are often locked. I think it would be beneficial to open these up in exam periods to free up library and study spaces. As you have to get up at ridiculous times to secure a seat, and once people obtain a seat they will leave their items so no one else can use the space sometimes people's items are left overnight.
During exam periods there are no seminars, a lot of rooms within Faculties are locked and I feel that this is such a waste of space when people can use them. I understand they cannot be used when they are used as examination rooms.
